Help Micah Challenge Continue Mobilizing for Justice!
I’m honored to serve on the board of Micah Challenge USA, a remarkable ministry that mobilizes Christians to end extreme poverty. Since our inception in 2005, Micah Challenge USA has equipped evangelical communities throughout the US on transformational advocacy to combat injustice, extreme poverty, and now climate change. In recent years, Micah Challenge USA has accomplished some amazing feats, including:
Publishing Live Justly, an action based study used by thousands of Christians in the US and around the world helping people move from ideas to action.
Creating For the Love Of a documentary on poverty and climate change which reached over 1,000,000 people, and was screened in over 10 states.
Hosting the Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki Moon for a dinner meeting with 200 Evangelical leaders to discuss the role the Church plays in ending extreme poverty.
In today’s world, Micah’s voice and leadership is needed now more than ever. We have the proven ability to raise awareness and inspire action on key justice issues within the evangelical community. We just launched Renew our World and Live Justly Global--two projects to help the Church not only respond to climate change, poverty, and injustice but how we ought to do this, holistically.
We feel even more called to proclaim the gospel of hope, justice, and love, and to continue this good and necessary work. We humbly ask you to prayerfully consider supporting us as we continue this good work.
Thank you for your time, support, and consideration.
